Chrasť Forest Park

The forest park is a relatively densely wooded recreational zone in Žilina interwoven with an asphalt path and trails, benches, fire pits, or climbing frames for sports activities. The center is a children's playground with a café, where there is also a chapel built in memory of those fallen in the First World War.

The viewpoint in the forest park is a popular stop with a view of the village of Rosina, the surrounding fields, and the Lučanská Fatra and Malá Fatra mountains. A tree-lined avenue leads to it, opening at its end like a gate to the wide surroundings. There are benches for resting and birdhouses in the tree growth, where various species of birds and squirrels take turns.
