A shorter but intense circuit through the nature around the city of Žilina, where forests alternate with meadows, views and wide plains. At the end, on the way back, we descend on a long downhill ride along an asphalt road to Teplička nad Váhom.
1. Start Vodné dielo Žilina
We start at the Žilina Waterworks and let ourselves be guided along the cycle route beside the Váh River all the way to the Budatín city district, where we turn towards Brodno.
2. Passage through the village of Brodno
A path suitable for cyclists leads from Žilina to Brodno, ending in the centre of the village, from where we continue further with a climb uphill.
3. Crossing meadows and forest on the border of the villages of Brodno and Snežnica
The most beautiful section of the entire route leads along a forest gravel path where stretches of meadows, forest groves and views alternate.
4. Descent to Teplička nad Váhom
From the top of Dubeň, an asphalt cycle route leads with a steep descent to the village of Teplička nad Váhom, where we join the route leading all the way to the building where we started at the Žilina Water Works.
